I came to faith in Christ October 8, 1958 at Azusa Pacific University. I came from a non-Christian home after my journey took me from Michigan, where I graduated from High School, to the University of Arizona, Tucson, to Azusa where the Lord found me and changed my life through the Gospel of Christ.
I was ordained on October 8, 1961 at the Oro Grande Community Church in Oro Grande, California. I have served the Lord in Pastoral Ministry for 42 years in the following places:
Oro Grande Community Church, 4 years
Granada Hills Community Church, 5 years
Azusa Pacific University, 4 years
Village Covenant Church, Azusa, 6 ½ years
Rancho Cucamonga church plant, 2 years
Diamond Bar Covenant Church plant, 2 years
Orange Covenant Church, 6 ½ years
Hermon Free Methodist Church (L.A.), 10 ½ years
Cucamonga Christian Fellowship, since August 2003
I love the unchangeableness of His love towards me - "He is the same yesterday, today, and forever." Hebrews 13:8
Romans 12:1-2
Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship. 2Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - his good, pleasing and perfect will.
I love the way this congregation has reached out to Rosie & I and made us feel like we belong here and we are loved (all this in just 8 short months).
That I would be unable to change as I became older and would be "old wine in an old wineskin."
