How you can receive Jesus Christ as your Savior

If you would like to welcome Jesus Christ into your life, you can do so any time and anywhere. Consider these wonderful realizations.

1. Realize God loves you and seeks a personal relationship with you!
“Look! Here I stand at the door and knock. If you hear me calling and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal as friends.” (Revelations 3:20)

2. Realize that everyone has fallen short of God’s standards and that’s called sin. And that sin separates us from a relationship with God. “For all have sinned; all fall short of God’s glorious standard.” (Romans 3:23) “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)
	3. Realize that Jesus has paid for the price of sin. “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
4. Realize that Jesus will forgive us of all sin, assuring us of eternity in Heaven! “But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong.” (1 John 1:9)
		5. Realize that you are just a prayer away from your salvation! To receive Jesus pray in this manner: "Lord Jesus, I'm a sinner. Please come into my life and forgive me of all sin. I believe you died for my sins and rose from the dead. Now help me turn from my sin and obey you the rest of the days of my life. Thank you, Lord, for loving and saving me, as I accept you as my Lord and Savior! Amen."

6. Realize the next step is to tell another Christian of your commitment and then to find a Small Group to help you grow and mature in Christ. Welcome to the Family of God!
