Worship is not about musical style, but about giving praise to God

“He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the LORD.” Psalm 40:3

There has been a long standing debate in churches throughout the world about worship style. It is our goal to focus our worship times on content rather than form. It is our desire to provide a broad range of musical styles; new songs, contemporary favorites, classic choruses, fresh hymn arrangements, etc. We love to explore new ways to express creativity in our worship.

Worship helps us recognize our place in God’s creation

“I lift up my eyes to the hills, where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:1-2

We want to help the people of CCF understand their place in the order of worship. Worship does not depend on our circumstances – whether good or bad, God is still worthy to be praised!
