Santa to a Senior

CCF partners with the LINK Program at the Rancho Cucamonga Senior Center to care for the elderly who are on fixed incomes and homebound. In 2005 we provided 166 Bags of Love with Christmas gifts and helped organize and promote "Santa To A Senior" to another 500 low income seniors in our community. In 2006, our goal is to help the LINK Program by donating handiwipes or handknit items for the 200 homebound senior citizens.
What you can do: Knit, crochet (or learn) a hat, booties or lapghan for an elderly person who can't get out during the Christmas season. Donate yarn for others to make these items or donate handiwipes. Pray for our senior citizens as many are very lonely and often forgotten especially during the holidays.
